Senior Engineer- LabVIEW Developer

1. Test System Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW applications for:
• ICT (In-Circuit Test)
• AOI (Automated Optical Inspection)
• Flying Probe Testers
• Functional Testers
• Burn-in Machines
• End-of-Line (EOL) Testers
• Integrate firmware flashing/programming into LabVIEW test workflows.
• Interface LabVIEW applications with NI DAQ/PXI, PLCs, IC programmers, vision systems, sensors, actuators, and barcode/RFID traceability systems.
• Implement automated data logging, analysis, and defect trend monitoring for process optimization.
• Ensure all test systems meet IATF 16949, customer-specific, and EV safety standards.

2. Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose and resolve LabVIEW-based tester issues to minimize SMT/PCBA line downtime.
• Troubleshoot high-voltage EV component testers with strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead root cause analysis for tester-related downtime impacting OEE and yield.
• Support preventive maintenance plans to achieve tester uptime >98%.

3. Process Improvement & Innovation

• Drive automation initiatives to improve test cycle time, yield, and coverage.
• Implement self-check, calibration, and health-monitoring routines in test systems.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through software optimization, fixture reusability, and better integration.

4. Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Conduct hands-on LabVIEW training for engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Create SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials for test systems.
• Mentor team members to independently resolve first-level LabVIEW issues.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain version-controlled repositories (SVN/Git) for LabVIEW code and configurations.
• Document software architecture, wiring diagrams, and change logs.
• Prepare tester correlation reports to validate measurement accuracy against reference equipment.
• Ensure readiness for internal, customer, and third-party audits.
