Role Overview:

The IBMS Senior Execution Engineer is responsible for implementing, commissioning, testing, and handing over Integrated Building Management Systems within large-scale data centers. The role involves coordination with cross-functional teams, contractors, and OEM vendors to ensure that all IBMS subsystemssuch as BMS, EMS, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm Systems, and Environmental Monitoringare delivered as per specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Coordination:

• Execute IBMS installation activities at the data center site in line with approved drawings and method statements.
  
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of all building systems.
  
• Conduct site surveys, material verification, and readiness checks before execution.
  

2. System Installation & Commissioning:

• Oversee installation and commissioning of:
  
• Building Management System (BMS)
  
• Energy Monitoring System (EMS)
  
• Access Control & Security Systems
  
• CCTV & Surveillance systems
  
• Fire Alarm & Suppression monitoring interfaces
  
• Environmental Monitoring (temperature, humidity, leak detection, etc.)
  
• Manage system programming, controller configuration, device addressing, and network integration.
  

3. Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Perform SAT, FAT, I/O checks, troubleshooting, and validation of all IBMS subsystems.
  
• Ensure compliance with data center standards (ASHRAE, UPTIME, TIA-942, etc., if applicable).
  
• Prepare test reports, snag lists, and close-out documents.
  

4. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain and update technical documents: as-built drawings, wiring diagrams, datasheets, BOQs, and test reports.
  
• Provide daily/weekly progress reports to the project manager.
  
• Support handover documentation and O&M manual preparation.
  

5. Vendor & Client Coordination:

• Coordinate with OEMs for system integration and technical clarifications.
  
• Attend client meetings, provide technical inputs, and align on deliverables.
  
• Support training sessions for client operations teams during handover.
  

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IBMS/BMS platforms (Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Delta, etc.).
  
• Experience in data center environments and understanding of critical facility operations.
  
• Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
  
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage systems: access control, CCTV, FAS, PA, lighting controls.
  
• Ability to read engineering drawings (SLDs, GA drawings, DB schedules, system architecture diagrams).
  

Professional Experience:

• 510 years

  of experience in IBMS project execution or commissioning.
• Minimum

  12 years

  of experience working on data center projects (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
