Senior Engineer - Field Service

Job Summary: *

Were seeking an experienced Senior Chilled Water Piping Design Engineer to lead the design and development of chilled water piping systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in piping design, calculation, and analysis, with a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards.

*Key Responsibilities: *

1. Lead the design and development of chilled water piping systems, including pipe sizing, layout, and material selection.

2. Perform complex hydraulic calculations and analysis to ensure system performance and efficiency.

3. Develop and maintain piping designs, including 2D/3D models and detailed drawings.

4. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and architectural.

6. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues and conflicts.

8. Participate in project meetings and provide design input.

9. Review and approve designs for accuracy and compliance.

*Requirements:*

1. Diploma mechanical / bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Piping Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in piping design, preferably in chilled water systems.

3. Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (e. g. , ASHRAE, ASME).

4. Proficiency in piping design software (e. g. , AutoCAD, Revit, CAESAR II).

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

*Preferred Qualifications: *

1. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

2. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems.

3. Certification in piping design or related field (e. g. , PE, CPD).

4. Proven track record of successful project delivery.
