Senior Engineer - Electrical

Role Overview: You will be joining Barry-Wehmiller as a Senior Engineer - Electrical, responsible for developing electrical designs, drawings, and Bill of Materials for industrial machineries and equipment such as Printing, Packaging, and Paper machineries. Your role will involve participating in various stages from concept design to troubleshooting reviews with customers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop electrical design, drawings, and Bill of Materials based on customer requirements - Participate in concept, detail design, production, testing, safety, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting reviews with customers - Calculate and select PLC, Drives, HMI, AC Load calculations, low voltage switchgear systems, cables, electrical components, and field devices based on application & design standards - Prepare single and three-line diagrams, panel IGA & OGA drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams using design software - Ensure compliance with standards such as UL508A, ANSI, IEC, and others - Experience in B&R and Allen Bradley PLC, Servo drives, HMI, and Yaskawa Drives preferable - Replace obsolete electrical parts while maintaining Form, Fit, and Functions of the existing design - Create and update functional specifications, Assembly & Installation Instruction of machines Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Industrial Machineries/Equipment and discrete product machineries - Experience in Printing and Packaging Machines OEM is preferable - Hands-on experience in electrical design software like Promise, AdeptE, and AutoCAD - Knowledge of materials, components, and equipment used in electrical machines - Familiarity with industrial control and protection schemes for electrical distribution systems, motor controls, and electrical systems Please note: Barry-Wehmiller values diversity and encourages individuals from all backgrounds to apply for positions.
