We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BigCommerce Developer with 5years of hands-on development experience
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable e-commerce solutions using the BigCommerce platform You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to create high-performing, user-friendly, and visually appealing online stores,
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5years in web development, with at least 3 years focused on BigCommerce,
Technical Skills
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, VueJS, or similar), Expertise in BigCommerce Stencil framework and custom theme development, Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and BigCommerce API integrations, Experience with Java, PHP, MySQL, GraphQL and other back-end technologies, Experience with headless commerce architecture/Big Commerce catalyst is a plus, Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization, Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time, Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, Preferred Qualifications BigCommerce Certified Developer credentials, Experience with SaaS e-commerce platforms or other CMS systems like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, Background in digital marketing or analytics integration
