Overview: Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire a Sr. Engineer Job Responsibilities Contributes by independently leading key/large product development projects or multiple small product development projects for Hydraulic hoses based on Global market requirements. Builds prototypes, defines product validation plans and test solutions to meet / exceed customer requirements and support product introduction Design new hydraulic hose or enhance performance of existing hose, involving hose architecture design & rubber compounding Responsible to drive product development effectiveness through analysis first and DfX deployment ensuring flawless execution and zero analytical escapement Builds & enhances prediction models for the product performance parameters. Have strong understanding of hydraulic hose performance & application requirements and lead new technology, idea generation, mature & work across ENG, SCM and MFG functions to realize the opportunities Proficient application of core Engineering tools/principles, industry best practices, DFSS tools and recognition for technical expertise (Core Ex.: Design Rules, DFMEA, Writing Test Reports, Testing, Eng. Drawings and Std's, applies Robust Design, etc.) Drives project execution through Agile PDP process and have thorough understanding of all associated SCM and MFG processes such as for APQP, PPAP Lead and participate in global cross functional events for NPD, New technology Introduction & Cost out Comes up with innovative product concepts/ideas, and protect IP through Disclosures/Patents/Trade secrets, develop PoC with independently
