Senior Engineer - Digital Transformation (Industry 4.0)

Role & responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Industry 4.0 automation, smart sensors, and data platforms. Integrate IoT, PLC, SCADA, and robotics with manufacturing systems. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and IT teams to drive digital transformation and predictive maintenance using AI/ML. Ensure OT/IT convergence with secure communications. Analyze data for process improvements. Oversee installation, commissioning, and documentation. Stay updated on emerging Industry 4.0 technologies and ensure timely project delivery across the group.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3- 6 years of relevant industry experience in implementing

  Industry 4.0

  technologies in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, robotics systems, PLC/SCADA, and sensor networks.
• Experience with IIoT platforms, industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, etc.).
• Familiarity with data analytics tools, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Edge), and cyber-physical systems.
• Programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar for automation or robotics applications.
• Knowing the basic python programming
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in industrial environments.
• Networking across group and vendor development.
