Job Description

Role: Senior Engineer - Customer Quality

Candidates from Plastic Injection Molding Auto Components Manufacturing background only apply.

Location: Thirumazhisai, Chennai

Experience: 8-12 Years

Job Responsibilities:

Presenting daily morning meeting with key functional members of various departments about customer concerns, internal FTQ defects and FGA defects.
Preparing internal reports, weekly quality meeting reports and presenting them to Customer and Internal Functional Teams.
Conducting MSA Attribute study for our quality inspectors on monthly basis as per plan.
Conducting Product and Process Audit as per plan
Maintaining SPC records for critical parameters as per CSR.
Monitored production activities to ensure conformance to established methods and procedures.
Generated technical reports for customers
Reducing the daily FTQ defects using problem solving tools.
Handling customer complaints and solving the issues.
Preparing CMR for that complaints and closing it in customer online portal.
Maintaining the customer set PPM within the target.

Candidate Background:

He should have 8-10 years of experience of working independently with OEM as Renault, M&M, Tata Motors, Daimler, Hyundai etc or with Tier 1 Auto Clients as Aptiv, Hella, Minda, Mahle, Rane, ZF, Motherson, Mando etc.
Should have worked in Plastic Injection Moulding Automotive components assembly process and not any other process.
Excellent knowledge of 8D methodology
Knowledge in PPAP, DOE, SPC, 7QC Tools, Control Chart, MSA
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
