Senior Engineer - Copper Tube

Purpose/Objective

The Shift Operator plays a crucial role in the Copper industry at Mundra, Gujarat, contributing to the efficient and safe operation of the production process. The role requires 4-8 years of experience in the industry, ensuring a deep understanding of the operational procedures and adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities of Role

- Operate and control the process equipment efficiently to ensure the production target is met while adhering to safety and quality standards. - Conduct regular inspections and monitor all plant equipment to identify and address potential issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations. - Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel. - Collaborate with the maintenance team to report any equipment malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime. - Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment readings, and other relevant data to support effective reporting and analysis. - Participate in safety meetings, contribute to safety initiatives, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the workplace. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to sustainable operational practices. - Support and train new operators, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team performance. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate shift handovers and relay important information.

Technical Competencies

Knowledge of safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and emergency response protocols.,Proficiency in operating process equipment and ensuring adherence to safety standards.,Proficiency in operating and controlling process equipment and machinery specific to the Copper industry.,Understanding of production processes, material handling, and quality control measures within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience - 4-8 years of experience in the Copper industry or a similar manufacturing environment. Education Qualification - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. Certification Required - Relevant certifications in process operations, industrial safety, or equipment handling are advantageous.
