Job summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and proficient Senior Engineer Civil with a robust background in the residential and institutional construction sector. The candidate will be responsible for leading and executing complex construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards. This site-based role demands leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to manage and mentor junior engineers and liaise with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and budgetary constraints.
• Design and Planning: Review and approve designs and plans, ensuring feasibility and compliance with codes and regulations. Coordinate with design teams and architects to optimize project plans.
• Site Management: Oversee site operations, ensuring safety and efficiency. Supervise construction activities to ensure they align with project plans and contract requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure construction materials and workmanship are of the highest quality.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government authorities to ensure project specifications are met and address any concerns or modifications needed.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS-Office

Key Requirements

• Experience: 7-10 years of extensive experience in civil engineering within the residential and institutional sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software tools relevant to project management and site execution.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage large-scale projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Certification in Project Management
