Job Description

Senior Engineer – Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME)


Role Description

As our Azure Subject Matter Expert, you’ll:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure PaaS & IaaS services including 

    AKS, APIM, Azure Database for MySQL, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Blob Storage, and Key Vault

    .
  • Build and optimize 

    CI/CD pipelines

     using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Secure and manage container artifacts in 

    Azure Container Registry

    .
  • Architect secure and scalable networks with 

    VNets, NSGs, Front Door / Application Gateway with WAF, and DDoS Protection

    .
  • Implement monitoring & observability with 

    Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights

    .
  • Ensure infrastructure is resilient, cost-optimized, and aligned with DevOps and cloud security best practices.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure services (PaaS + IaaS).
  • Strong expertise in networking, cloud security, and DevOps practices.
  • Proven track record in 

    AKS, CI/CD, Git, ACR, APIM, and WAF solutions

    .
  • Familiarity with 

    Azure Database Migration Service

     (a plus).
  • Azure Cloud certification (preferred).
  • A problem-solver with strong communication and collaboration skills.
