About The Role : Job TitleSenior Engineer, Associate LocationPune, India Role Description An Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and support a strategic US Finance Regulatory Reporting platform for the Bank. You will engage with a rich platform that interfaces Axiom Regulatory Reporting tool, Java, Python frameworks, React and Angular UIs, Tableau and Oracle databases as well as Big Data processing with Scala and Spark. Able to ingeniously stretch the capability of Tableau to customize and develop creatively stunning and dynamic visualizations. Achieve competency in using DBs proprietary systems for data extraction, checking and validation of report accuracy. Perform UAT testing. Identify opportunities to leverage synergies within different US LRR teams to automate tasks using Tableau. Maintain a log of all Tableau develop efforts, both in-flight and in the pipeline for consideration, to be presented at various decision making forums. Be able to undertake development work within an Agile work environment. Positive solution based work ethic. Communicate effectively with audiences in a clear & logical manner. Should have knowledge on Control-M / AirFlow to schedule Job's Your skills and experience Minimum 8+ years of industry experience. Strong hands-on experience with implementing interactive dashboards, data visualizations and analytics in Tableau. Business Intelligence solution design, development, and process documentation to produce required reporting and analytics deliverables using Tableau. Strong analytical skillsets in being able to evaluate patterns and draw meaningful insights from data via quantitative & qualitative analyses. Strong aptitude and experience in automating manual tasks. Deep understanding of coding with SQL/Tableau is a must and other programming languages (e.g. Java / Python) is a distinct advantage. Conceptual and analytical skills and project management experience. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. A minimum of a bachelors qualification (or equivalent qualification / work experience) preferably in computer science context.
