Job Description

What you ll do:

" The candidate should have strong background in heat transfer,fluid mechanics with thorough understanding of CFD analysis fundamentals. In addition basic knowledge of Electrical and Electromagnetics fundamentals is expected
The primary responsibility of this role is to execute plasma simulations analysis (CFD + Electromagnetics) projects for product/systems design and development of various Eaton Electrical products Partners with global CoE and Product teams, understands the design intent, develops and validates models to substantiate the designs of various systems, sub-systems and components. Provides technical information and engineering recommendations to projects / processes. Executes complex engineering projects. Executes key tasks associated with project independently and by collaborating with cross-functional disciplines. Candidate will be responsible for Internal & External Communications, which is critical to success. Guide and mentor engineers on critical technical deliverables " " Develops plasma simulation models of Electrical system/ sub-system/ components using Ansys Tools and simple Physics Based calculations as needed Analyzes & optimizes designs through CAE modeling and Drive Analysis First Culture in product development Delivers deep insights through modeling and simulations for robust product development to meet all performance requirements/ CTQs. Partners with global CoE and product teams, understands the design intent, develops and validates models to substantiate the designs of various components & systems. Performs project engineering work independently; communicates expectations, plan and requirements; also coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects. Provides technical information and engineering recommendations for improvement of product designs and associated processes. Ensures on time delivery and quality performance results in all work deliveries. Provides novel solutions/concepts (complementing with Innovation Disclosures & Patents, Technical papers) to strengthen and drive innovation. Should have ability to influence and drive people / activities on complex technical issues. Strong analytical skills, strong verbal & written communication skills and proven team player. Regularly communicates project updates effectively to all internal/ external stakeholders"

Qualifications:

Mtech/MS - Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years

Skills:

" Strong Fundamnetals in Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and experience in CFD modeling using Ansys CAE tools such as Spaceclaim, Ansys meshing, Fluent meshing, Fluent Solver, CFDPost, Ensight and alied tools
Exposure to Electrical and Eletromagnatics Fundamentals" "Accountability Takes complete responsibility of assigned tasks and delivers results despite of roadblocks Passion - Pursues everything with drive and motivates others around to contribute towards the cause Resourceful Works across the boundaries to get the desired things done timely Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, Looks beyond the obvious solutions and comes up with creative/ innovative proposals Learner - Takes efforts to upskill self and shares the learnings with broader team proactively Transparency - Should create open and trusting environment in the team"
