Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • To create and develop a solid Governance framework that drives continuous process improvement
  • Investigate, analyze, and make appropriate recommendations regarding employee relations issues filed internally; exercise influence appropriately
  • Ensure all investigations are completed in time and outcome/ sanctions are effectively communicated to all stakeholders within the defined timelines/ SLAs
  • Utilize the Employee Relations Case Management System to manage cases from intake to resolution
  • Provide coaching, counsel, and direction to Managers to ensure fair employment practices and compliance with employment legislation
  • Should focus on developing scalable and innovative ER solutions, driving employee and manager accountability and provide advisory
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline required, Masters degree preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in general HR
  • Overall 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in employee relations vertical
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to analyze statistical data to identify areas of focus
  • Proven excellent communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively and accurately in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Solid interpersonal, delivery, Project Management and facilitation skills
