As a Senior ELV Design Engineer in Hyderabad (Gachibowli), you will be responsible for engineering design in the field of instrumentation and process automation at various project phases. Your role involves working closely with colleagues across all disciplines and participating in proposal preparation, scope understanding, and effort estimation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Handling multiple projects as a lead design engineer for FAB projects. - Performing tasks in all project execution phases: Concept, Basic, Detail engineering. - Following DES Quality system for project execution. - Preparing project reports such as QC plan, Discipline progress tracker & Defect tracker. - Creating deliverable lists and ensuring design deliverables meet required quality. - Ensuring project deliverables are completed as per schedule. - Planning and forecasting resources for projects. - Coordinating with Host, DMs, and other leads to resolve inter-disciplinary issues. - Participating in technical meetings with vendors and consultants. - Working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver control and instrumentation engineering requirements as per schedule. - Reviewing and providing comments on vendor documents. **Qualifications Required:** - Preparation of Concepts / Design basis in Concept, Basic, and Detail engineering phases. - Design, selection, installation, and commissioning of Instrumentation for various applications. - Reviewing 3D models for scope of work as per SPM. - Preparation of schedules for Telecom, cable, and panels. - Creating Installation Typical details, schematics, and hook-ups. - Preparing Instrument Specifications and Data sheets. - Reviewing bids and preparing technical evaluation reports. - Creating Schedule, I/O lists, and Instrument Index. - Understanding safety, environmental requirements, and risk assessment. - Knowledge of local code of practice and International Standards for designs. - Familiarity with standards like NEC, NEMA, IEEE802, Bicsi, IEC. - Designing ELV systems such as LSS, IT/Telecom, CCTV, PA. This job requires a thorough understanding of operational processes in an organisation and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
