Senior ELV Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior ELV Design Engineer based in Hyderabad (Gachibowli) working from the office, you will be responsible for engineering design at different project phases to meet project requirements in the field of instrumentation and process automation. You will collaborate with the design manager on proposal preparation, which involves understanding scope & schedule, finalizing deliverables, and estimating effort. Your role is multidisciplinary, requiring a thorough understanding of the operational processes of the organization and close collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines. Key Responsibilities: - Lead design engineer for FAB projects, handling multiple projects simultaneously - Perform tasks in all project execution phases: Concept, Basic, Detail engineering - Follow DES Quality system for project execution - Prepare project reports such as QC plan, Discipline progress tracker, and Defect tracker - Compile lists of deliverables - Prepare and review design deliverables to ensure quality standards are met - Ensure project deliverables are completed as per schedule - Plan and forecast resources for projects - Coordinate with Host, DMs, and other leads to resolve interdisciplinary issues - Participate in technical meetings with vendors and consultants - Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective delivery of control and instrumentation engineering requirements as per schedule - Review vendor documents and provide comments Qualifications Required: - Preparation of Concepts / Design basis in Concept, Basic, and Detail engineering phases - Design, selection, installation, and commissioning of Instrumentation for various applications - Review 3D models for scope of work as per SPM - Prepare schedules for Telecom, cable, and panels - Create installation typical details, schematics, and hook-ups - Develop Instrument Specifications and Data sheets - Review bids and prepare technical evaluation reports - Prepare Schedule, I/O lists, and Instrument Index - Understand safety, environmental requirements, and conduct risk assessments - Familiarity with local codes of practice and International Standards for designs - Knowledge of standards such as NEC, NEMA, IEEE802, Bicsi, IEC - Design ELV systems (LSS, IT/Telecom, CCTV, PA),
