Senior Editor

You will be responsible for maintaining online and print publishing cycles, ensuring the quality of content, and suggesting new ideas to the writers, graphic designers, and video editors. You will coordinate with the team for executing tasks such as posting news, blogs, managing social media, producing videos, and designing banners. Additionally, you will connect with companies for advertising opportunities to enhance revenue. Your role will involve tracking and assisting assistants with client queries, designing strategies for promoting events, and supporting the sales team in addressing sales queries and closing deals successfully. You will collaborate with clients, sales managers, and event management teams to ensure smooth execution of projects. Furthermore, you will coordinate with various stakeholders during live events and manage promotional materials for pre and post-event activities. In addition, you will work closely with the editorial and web development teams to update special awards pages, social media promotions, and email campaigns. You will engage with influential personalities and media companies to participate in events and onboard partners. You will assist web developers in maintaining website functionality, analyze content marketing strategies, and coordinate with HR agencies for the onboarding process. To qualify for this position, you must have over 5 years of experience in the English business news publishing industry, possess excellent communication skills, hold a graduate degree in Literature, Mass Media, Journalism, or related fields, be a resident of Bengaluru near Hebbal or Mathikere, demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making abilities, stay updated on global business trends, and have knowledge of social media platforms.
