Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Editor who can manage content development end-to-end — from writing and editing to interviews and team guidance. This role requires strong editorial judgment, refined language skills, and the ability to develop meaningful long-format content that meets publication standards for print.

This position sits between the content team and the Editor-in-Chief — requiring both leadership and hands-on execution.

(Not suitable for newspaper journalism, technical writers or short-format writers.)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of writers, interns, and junior editors through the publishing cycle.

Review, edit, and refine content to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with the publication tone.

Write original content when required — including biographies, editorial sections, articles, and profiles.

Conduct structured interviews with business leaders, high achievers, and public figures.

Collaborate with design, editorial leadership, and project coordinators to ensure timely progress.

Ensure all published work follows editorial guidelines, is fact-checked, and is print-ready.

Support the Editor-in-Chief in strategic content planning and quality control.

Travel occasionally for interviews, launches, or publishing events (as and when required).

Who We’re Looking For:

8–9 years of professional experience in publishing, books, magazines, or long-form storytelling.

(Not suitable for newspaper journalism, technical writers or short-format writers.)

Proven background in biography-style writing, editorial development, or premium content creation.

Strong command of written English with an eye for structure, tone, and detail.

Ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple projects simultaneously.

Confident communicator with experience interacting with senior or high-profile professionals.

Positive, proactive, and team-aligned working style.
