Senior Director Finance

As the Senior Director of Finance at Brick & Bolt, India's leading tech-enabled construction company, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial growth and stability. Your responsibilities will span strategic planning, finance controllership, investor relations, and financial operations. You will collaborate with the leadership team to enhance financial discipline, compliance, and business scalability. Your key responsibilities will include leading long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, partnering on strategic initiatives and growth plans, and driving initiatives to enhance profitability, unit economics, and ROI. You will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial statements, overseeing month-end/year-end closing and reporting, strengthening internal financial controls, and managing audits. Additionally, you will ensure tax compliance and regulatory adherence, support fundraising efforts, build investor confidence through transparent reporting, and lead financial due diligence and investor communication. Your role will also involve leading and scaling a high-performing finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. To qualify for this role, you should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with an MBA in Finance being a plus, coupled with 10-15 years of progressive finance experience including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. A strong background in finance controllership and compliance, experience in high-growth start-ups, construction, real estate, or tech industries, and familiarity with Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, tax laws, and audit practices are essential. Hands-on experience with ERPs, MIS, and business finance tools along with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
