DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on

    GCP / AWS

    .
  • Write and maintain

    automation scripts

    using

    Python

    and at least one more language (

    Node.js / Go / Shell

    ).
  • Implement

    Infrastructure as Code

    using

    Terraform and Ansible

    .
  • Configure and maintain

    web servers and proxies

    (Nginx, Apache).
  • Manage containerized applications using

    Docker and Kubernetes

    .
  • Implement

    security best practices

    across cloud services and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Set up and manage

    monitoring tools

    (Prometheus, Grafana) and

    logging infrastructure

    (ELK stack).
  • Build and maintain

    CI/CD pipelines

    using

    Git and Jenkins

    .
  • Work on

    distributed messaging systems

    like

    Kafka

    .
  • Collaborate with development teams for

    build, code release, and deployment processes

    .
  • Maintain basic working knowledge of

    SQL and NoSQL databases

    (MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Exposure to

    Azure cloud

    and

    APM / distributed tracing tools

    is a plus.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience on

    GCP / AWS

    (Azure knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in

    Python

    and at least one of

    Node.js, Go, or Shell scripting

    .
  • Hands-on with

    Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Git, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Kafka

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    cloud security and best practices

    .
  • Basic database knowledge (

    MySQL, MongoDB

    ).
