Senior Devops Engineer

W are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (5 to 10 years) with deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. The ideal candidate will lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, drive automation initiatives, and ensure operational excellence across all DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Lead containerization efforts using Docker and manage Kubernetes workloads across AKS, EKS, GKE, or on-prem clusters.

• Oversee monitoring, logging, scaling, and performance tuning of containerized applications.

• Implement and manage advanced IaC solutions using Terraform, ARM templates, and Helm charts.

• Design, operate, and optimize multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS).

• Configure and maintain observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).

• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to enable automation, reliability, and deployment efficiency.

• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

• Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for architectures, processes, and operational procedures.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices and standards.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of strong DevOps experience in cloud-native and hybrid environments.

• Extensive knowledge of Docker, container lifecycle management, and debugging/troubleshooting.

• Advanced hands-on expertise with Kubernetes objects (Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, StatefulSets) and cluster operations.

• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD automation workflows.

• Proficient in Linux system administration and shell scripting.

• Expertise in Terraform (preferred) for large-scale IaC management, module development, and state management.

• Solid understanding of Git, branching strategies, and DevOps workflows.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation tools.

• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPC, Routing).

• Ability to lead, mentor, and work collaboratively with global engineering teams.
