Senior DevOps Engineer (4 6 years experience)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to collaborate with development and operations teams in automating, deploying, and maintaining applications across multiple environments (DR, Prod, Dev, UAT, XUAT, and Test). The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing complex cloud infrastructure, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires expertise in modern DevOps practices, proactive problem-solving, and mentoring junior engineers while taking ownership of delivering reliable solutions. Skill Set AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, Fargate, API Gateway, Aurora). CI/CD tools: Bitbucket Pipelines, Harness, ArgoCD (GitOps). Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm. Containerization Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Rancher. Artifact Package Management: Artifactory. Code editors: Visual Studio Code. Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell). Experience supporting applications in Java, .NET, and Python environments.
Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. Troubleshoot and resolve L2/L3 level issues in containerized and cloud environments. Provide architectural input and best practices for DevOps solutions. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across deployments in multi-environment setups. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business needs. Document standards, processes, and reusable templates for operational efficiency. Eligibility 4 6 years of DevOps experience. Strong expertise with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS. Proven experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Harness, ArgoCD). Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows and branching strategies. Experience managing infrastructure across DR, Prod, Dev, UAT, XUAT, Test. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).Soft Skills Strong leadership, accountability, and ownership of tasks. Proactive in driving issues to logical closure. Empathy towards client, team, and organizational needs. Positive attitude with design thinking and problem-solving approach. Ability to mentor, influence, and build trust with stakeholders.Nice to Have Experience with Rancher, Artifactory, or hybrid/multi-cloud deployments. Security best practices in AWS cloud and Kubernetes clusters. Exposure to cost optimization and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). Advanced GitOps workflows and branching models.
