Senior DevOps Engineer

Our Client is looking for an Azure /AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. Our ideal candidate will be a software engineering professional with a passion for automation and a strong commitment to improving the banks development, deployment, and monitoring processes.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of App DevOps best practices, extensive experience with Kubernetes, Istio Service Mesh, Github actions, Terraform, AZDO pipeline automation, and a dedication to collaboration.

Required qualifications for this role include a bachelors degree in computer science or similar field and at least five years of experience in a DevOps-related role.

The ideal candidate will have a background in DevOps and expertise in scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, NodeJS and PowerShell.

In addition, experience with configuration management tools, such as Chef or Ansible, and Azure devops automation tools, is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification (Must)
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Git Actions
• Automation mindset
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or both
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
