Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Senior Developer Project Lead. The Senior Developer Project Lead will oversee the development team, manage project timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure the successful delivery of software projects. Key responsibilities include leading technical design and development processes, maintaining and improving the website’s functionality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Regular code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with web development frameworks and technologies like React, Angular, or Node.js
• Strong project management skills, including task delegation and timeline management
• Understanding of database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with several years of relevant experience
• Previous leadership experience in a similar role is preferred
