Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of a robust, scalable visual editor using the Grapes.js framework.
• Develop custom blocks, components, and plugins to extend the core functionality of the editor for both email and web page creation.
• Ensure the editor produces clean, semantic, and responsive HTML/CSS that is compatible across modern web browsers and major email clients.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate requirements into a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Integrate the editor with our backend services for saving, loading, and managing user-generated templates and assets.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
• Optimize the application for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and establish best practices for front-end development within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years

  of professional experience in front-end web development.

• Proven, in-depth experience with Grapes.js

  , including building custom solutions, plugins, and storage managers. A strong portfolio or live examples of Grapes.js projects are highly desirable.
• Expert proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.

Nice to Haves (Bonus Points)

• Experience with the specific challenges of HTML for email (table-based layouts, inline CSS, etc.).
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Experience with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and design systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
