Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead advanced threat hunting engagements, leveraging deep knowledge of attacker TTPs and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Oversee triage and investigation of critical security incidents; recommend and coordinate mitigation strategies.
Develop, test, and deploy advanced detection analytics using SIEM and EDR platforms.
Conduct postincident reviews to identify detection gaps and recommend systemic improvements.
Mentor junior and midlevel team members on investigative techniques and tooling.
Continuously refine detection logic and incident playbooks.
Support implementation and development of new capabilities and tooling.
Provide subject matter expertise specific tools and technologies.

Participation in 24x7 on-call rotation (as required).

Preferred candidate profile

5+ years in related role.
English language fluency.
Analytical skills, problem solving and critical thinking with a desire and eagerness to acquire new knowledge and constantly learn.
Resourceful, self-motivated and someone who shines as an individual and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of security, network and broader information technology concepts.
Strong knowledge of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures commonly used by adversaries.
Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for detection rule creation and enrichment workflows.
Experience in implementing and configuring 3 or more of the following:

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
Security Information Event Management (SIEM)
Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
Vulnerability Management/Cloud Security Posture Management
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Email Security / Phishing
Remote Access Solutions
DNS Security
