Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Detailer based in Chennai. The Senior Detailer will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, managing structural steel drafting, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves reviewing and editing shop drawings, resolving design issues, and collaborating with engineers and contractors to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Steel Detailing, Structural Drafting, and Shop Drawing Preparation
• Familiarity with TEKLA STRUCTURES Software, 3D Modeling Tools, and Drafting Applications
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to construction and American steel detailing standards
• Problem-solving skills to address design discrepancies and collaboration with project teams
• Experience with project coordination and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in steel detailing or a similar role is highly advantageous
