Senior Detailer

As a Sr. Detailer at Nucor Towers & Structures, you will play a crucial role in independently detailing and coordinating complex projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project drawings, schedules, and specifications, identifying changes, and communicating effectively with internal teammates. You will be expected to prepare accurate 3D models and detail drawings using Autodesk Inventor and Bluestar PLM software, ensuring all drawings are updated based on feedback and redlines. Key Responsibilities: - Independently detail and coordinate complex projects - Review project drawings, schedules, and specifications - Prepare accurate 3D models and detail drawings - Communicate effectively with engineers and internal teammates - Mentor and supervise Junior Detailers - Perform quality control reviews of drawings and 3D models - Approve drawings for release to fabrication or field - Ensure all drawings are entered into PLM with appropriate parameters Qualifications Required: - Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting or equivalent experience - Minimum six years of experience detailing using a CAD based system - Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor software - Experience in utility structures industry is preferred Why Nucor Nucor is committed to providing a safe, positive, and engaging work environment.
