Senior Desktop Support Engineer (Male)

Job Description

Hardware & Software Support: Provide expert knowledge and support for hardware components of PCs, Thin Clients, Laptops, and Printers. Perform installation and backup of Operating Systems and various other software applications. Manage the installation of printers, including configuration in RDSH (Remote Desktop Session Host) environments. Possess strong knowledge of Operating System support specific to printers, including the installation of printer drivers. Network & Connectivity: Configure Wireless Access Points to ensure robust wireless connectivity. Manage and troubleshoot remote connections, ensuring secure and reliable access. Possess knowledge and provide support for network-related assets such as Network Switches, Hubs, and POEs (Power over Ethernet). Work with Patch Panels for structured cabling and network organization. Application & Security: Oversee application deployment processes. Configure and manage anti-virus and Firewall settings to maintain system security. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance activities on PC systems, Thin Clients, and Printers. Provide comprehensive support for PC systems, Thin Clients, Printers, and Network maintenance, leveraging at least 3 years of specialized experience. Respond to and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications Minimum Education: Diploma in ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering), EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), or CS (Computer Science). Desired Certifications: MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) / MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in PC systems, Thin Clients, Printer, and Network maintenance. Specialization in at least one of these areas is required.
