Senior Design Engineer

Job Brief

SolidWorks

You will collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and coordinate with Sales and Marketing as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

SolidWorks

• Design and develop

  Jigs and Fixture,

  industrial and aerospace products

  with a focus on

  composite material structures

  and satellite subsystems.
• Perform

  structural and thermal design

  considering composite material properties and aerospace standards.
• Support

  satellite product development

  including enclosures, panels, fixtures, and load-bearing structures.
• Review and provide technical feedback on vendor drawings and manufacturing feasibility.
• Ensure accuracy through

  design review

  ,

  clash checking

  and

  quality verification

  of internal and external designs.
• Generate

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  and assist in

  cost estimation

  and

  material procurement

  .
• Support domestic and international engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in

  Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Composite Technology

• Minimum

  59 years of experience

  in

  Jigs and Fixure, industrial product design and composite structures

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  DFM and DFA.

• Solid understanding of

  composite materials, fabrication methods, and lightweight structure design

  .
• Experience in

  satellite/aerospace component design

  (panels, brackets, housings, mounts, structures).
• Familiarity with

  ASME standards,

  exposure to

  aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ECSS, or ISO)

• Proficient in

  Microsoft Office

  tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong

  attention to detail

  and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent

  organizational

  and

  communication skills

  .
• Ability to work

  independently

  and

  collaboratively

  across departments.
• Prior experience in a

  design engineering firm

  is preferred.
