Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design solar PV systems using AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and other tools
Prepare SLDs, layouts, string sizing, and BOMs for rooftop and ground-mounted systems
Conduct site surveys and feasibility analysis in coordination with sales and execution teams
Ensure designs comply with DISCOM/grid regulations, safety codes, and MNRE guidelines
Optimize system performance through shading analysis, tilt angle selection, and inverter configuration
Collaborate with procurement and project teams for technical validation of components
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process standardization

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
38 years of experience in solar PV design and engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, and MS Excel
Strong understanding of grid-tied and hybrid solar systems
Familiarity with BIS standards, IEC codes, and DISCOM approval processes
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
