Job Description

Opening for Senior Design Engineer

Job Location: Mira Road

Experience: 5+ years with BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

JOB SUMMARY:

To support 2D drafting, 3D modelling, layout design, and new product development. Work on continuous improvement, CAPA, value engineering, prototype development, and design validation while adhering to global engineering standards and enhancing customer experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning:

To receive design inputs from design and marketing teams.

Execution:

To design 3D & 2D using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
To conduct hand calculations, analysis and simulation work as required for projects.
To compile and maintain design data in the library.
To ensure all designs are prepared as per applicable standards & appropriate data is made available to respective departments.
To conduct value engineering projects as assigned.
To ensure effective resolution of complaints.
Visit site in case of troubleshooting in case of design related issues.
To monitor risks in the department and ensure that high risks are mitigated by taking appropriate actions.
To make prototypes of NPD & NCD projects as per requirement.

Teamwork:

To collaborate with the design team on projects as required.
To ensure team's adherence to all QMS activities as defined by the Quality system.
Knowledge sharing and development of a team.

Documentation:

Controlling of documentation work done by a team adhering to ISO 9001:2015.
Adherence to all QMS related activities as defined in Quality System Documentation.
