Senior Deliver Safety Officer

As a Senior Deliver Safety Officer at Linde, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the deliver shift operations at your assigned location. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, statutory compliance, operational efficiency, and reliability to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability sustainably. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure safe and efficient Deliver Operations at the PGP Plant / Warehouse to meet customer demand and aim for Zero Safety Incidents - Report and investigate any Near Miss, Incident, or Accident to identify and rectify gaps - Lead initiatives to enhance Safety culture, including Toolbox talks, Safety Meetings, and awards while ensuring 100% compliance with Statutory requirements - Monitor and ensure the validity of all Licenses and Permits related to fleet operation - Track on-road performance of drivers through remote data monitoring and conduct Safety Observations/Audits - Resolve customer complaints promptly and address issues to prevent recurrence - Maintain proper shipping documents and ensure compliance with statutory and internal guidelines - Take accountability for the day-to-day affairs of the Deliver Team at the location - Coordinate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members - Prepare various reports related to Fleet Operations and collaborate with internal departments to achieve team targets **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate preferably post-graduate with specialization in Logistics/Supply Chain/Distribution Management - Minimum 4-6 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the cryogenic industry - Experience in managing interfaces with transporters and statutory bodies - Strong business acumen, understanding of logistics environment, and financial principles - Strategic thinking and ability to motivate colleagues towards business goals - Customer-focused approach and visible leadership ensuring safety at all times At Linde, you will be part of a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with a commitment to sustainable development.
