Job Description

• Database Developer Responsibilities:
• Should be an expert in PL SQL (MS SQL Server 2012+)
• Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing database objects and optimizing as per needs.
• Expert in data modelling techniques
• Assisting product development teams in designing database.
• Optimizethedata storage capacity of thedatabase across environments.
• Experience with SSIS package development.
• Experience with SSRS reports development.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
• Performing debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving conflicts.
• Mentoring database administrators and providing them with technical support.
• Adhering to best practices in securely storing, backing up, and archiving data.
• Monitoring & reporting processes related to database design, configuration, and performance throughputs.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or master's in computer science, EE, ECE or related discipline preferred
• A minimum 6 years of recent experience in database engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of PL SQL.
• Hands on experience on SQL Server 2012 +
• Extensive experience with database technologies and architecture.
• Sound knowledge of best practices in database engineering and data security.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
