Database Developer - II Experience Level: 6 - 8 Years Job Location: Bangalore Immediate Joiner Job Description Database Developer Responsibilities: Should be an expert in PL SQL (MS SQL Server 2012+) Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing database objects and optimizing as per needs. Expert in data modelling techniques Assisting product development teams in designing database. Optimizethedata storage capacity of thedatabase across environments. Experience with SSIS package development. Experience with SSRS reports development. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. Performing debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving conflicts. Mentoring database administrators and providing them with technical support. Adhering to best practices in securely storing, backing up, and archiving data. Monitoring & reporting processes related to database design, configuration, and performance throughputs. Skills and Qualifications Bachelors or master's in computer science, EE, ECE or related discipline preferred A minimum 6 years of recent experience in database engineering. In-depth knowledge of PL SQL. Hands on experience on SQL Server 2012 + Extensive experience with database technologies and architecture. Sound knowledge of best practices in database engineering and data security. Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
