Job Description: Position: Senior Database Administrator Experience: 12+ Years Location: Work From Office (Chennai Sholinganallur)5days office Notice Period: Immediate / 15 Days Budget: Open (Looking for a strong and experienced candidate) Key Requirements: * 12+ years of proven experience in Database Administration across technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB * Experience provisioning and supporting databases on Azure and AWS (RDS, DocumentDB) * Expertise in managing data migration projects with a strong focus on data integrity * Skilled in optimizing large and complex SQL queries * Proficient in scripting (any language) * Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues using Database and OS-specific tools * Strong in identifying and resolving database performance bottlenecks * Expertise in SQL performance tuning * Experience with database installations, clustering, upgrades, patching, replication, security, and monitoring * In-depth knowledge of database backup and recovery processes * Capable of tuning databases for optimal efficiency, including hardware and software optimization * Solid understanding of database design best practices * Familiarity with Git, code publishing, versioning, branching, and Terraform * Excellent communication skills * Experience ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations * Ability to mentor and lead a team of DBAs * Strategic contributor in decision-making for database technologies and infrastructure
