We are looking for a Senior Data Strategist to join our Customer Data Team within the Marketing organization at Thomson Reuters. Based in Hyderabad, India, this role will focus on analyzing customer data across multiple platforms to derive actionable insights that drive marketing strategy and business decisions. The ideal candidate will combine technical data skills with strategic thinking and excellent communication abilities to translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for leadership. This is a mission-critical role with substantial scope, complexity, executive visibility, and has a large opportunity for impact. You will play a critical role in ensuring that customer data is effectively managed and utilized to drive business insights and facilitating informed decision-making and help Thomson Reuters rapidly scale our digital customer experiences. You are anticipated to thrive in a dynamic position that is crucial for the analyzing our data and developing actionable insights to drive our Marketing objectives. Your role involves leveraging data to achieve a more insightful understanding of customer behavior, which is essential for the advancement of our data-driven initiatives. This understanding is key to enhancing customer experiences and streamlining operations. In this role as a Senior Data Strategist , you will: Develop comprehensive understanding of multiple data platforms including CDP (Treasure Data), 6Sense (Intent Signals), DB, and HG Insights Master the data structures, models, tables, and data types across these platforms Analyze customer data across multiple MarTech platforms (CDP, Salesforce, Eloqua, Anaplan, 6Sense, DB, HG Insights) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities Create strategic recommendations for audience targeting based on data insights Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate data insights and strategic recommendations to leadership Deliver bi-weekly insights reports highlighting opportunities to optimize go-to-market strategies based on customer data Identify underutilized data assets and recommend approaches to leverage them effectively Stay current with AI capabilities and trends in the MarTech space and recommend implementations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making About You you're a fit for the role of Senior Data Strategist , if your background includes: 6-8 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, marketing analytics, or related roles. bachelors or masters degree in data science, business analytics, technology, or an equivalent field. Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Understanding of marketing technology platforms and customer data ecosystems. Excellent presentation skills with proficiency in creating executive-level PowerPoint decks. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Exposure to Gen AI, capable of leveraging AI solutions to address complex data challenges. Excellent oral, written, and visual (Power point slides) communication skills, especially in breaking down complex information into understandable pieces, telling stories with data, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks with a high attention to detail, even in the face of ambiguity and environmental barriers. Knowledge of marketing or digital domains and of professional services industry, especially legal, tax, and accounting is a plus. Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM (IST). Work from office for 2 days in a week (Mandatory).
