Senior Data Governance Architect

As a Senior Data Governance Architect, you will be responsible for leading and delivering enterprise-level data governance and management programs for global clients. Your role will involve designing and implementing data governance frameworks, architecting data solutions, conducting data assessments, defining data quality management frameworks, and contributing to pre-sales activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with client leadership and stakeholders to drive data democratization and adoption across various industries. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and organizational structures. - Architect and implement data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, privacy, and MDM solutions using tools like Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica, BigID, and others. - Conduct data assessments, define tooling strategy, and deliver recommendations aligned with business goals. - Define and operationalize Data Quality Management frameworks, SLAs, RCA processes, and steward-driven workflows. - Contribute to pre-sales activities such as RFPs/RFIs, capability presentations, and POCs in the data governance and management domains. - Provide strategic leadership in building and scaling data governance practices, including team hiring, training, and capability building. - Collaborate with client leadership, product owners, and domain stakeholders to drive data democratization and adoption. - Serve as an SME across multiple client engagements in retail, pharma, CPG, automotive, healthcare, insurance, and e-commerce domains. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Architecture roles. - Expertise with tools including Microsoft Purview, Alation, Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Immuta, Ataccama, Owl DQ. - Deep knowledge of cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP) and platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, ADLS, Cosmos DB. - Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with data privacy, access governance, and policy creation. - Demonstrated success in leading teams, including hiring, mentoring, and scaling CoEs. Nice to Have: - Certifications such as Collibra Ranger, Alation Consultant, Informatica Professional, BigID Expert. - Prior experience in pre-sales, client workshops, and delivering customized solutions. - Exposure to data products/data marketplace implementations.,
