Senior Data Entry Operator (Garment Manufacturing Unit)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Entry Operator to manage and maintain daily stock, inventory, and production data for our garment manufacturing unit. The role primarily focuses on stock and inventory data management (80%), along with basic accounting entries and support (20%). The ideal candidate should be accurate, detail-oriented, and familiar with garment production or factory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and update daily stock inwards/outwards for raw materials, fabrics, accessories, and finished goods.
• Maintain and update inventory registers, material issue slips, and stock transfer details.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
• Coordinate with store, production, and dispatch teams to verify stock movement and reconcile data.
• Track and record purchase receipts, job work material movement, and consumption reports.
• Assist accounts team with basic accounting entries, such as purchase bills, sales invoices, and payment vouchers.
• Update and maintain ERP / Excel accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support in physical stock verification and assist in reconciling variances.
• Ensure proper documentation and digital filing of all store-related records.
• Generate MIS reports related to stock and consumption for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate (preferably in Commerce, Business, or related field).
• 3–6 years of experience in data entry or inventory management in a garment manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP software.
• Good knowledge of stock and material movement processes.
• Basic understanding of accounting entries and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

Preferred:

• Prior work in apparel manufacturing units is preferable.

Salary Range: up to 35k

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
