AWS Data Engineer

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, including performance optimization, schema design, and security implementation. Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting is essential, along with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Informatica.

The role requires a strong foundation in SQL, data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) will be a significant advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, schema design, and security best practices.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Informatica, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
