Senior Data Engineer - MS-Fabric & PBI Specialist

1. Strategic Data Engineering & ETL Development

• Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Synapse, MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and scalability, anticipating future requirements and potential challenges.

2. Advanced Data Modeling & Reporting

• Lead the creation of robust, reusable, and efficient data models to support enterprise-level analytics.

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions across business units.

• Establish best practices, standards, and methodologies for modeling, version control

3. Business Partnership & Analytics Leadership

• Collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels to define KPIs, business logic, and analytic requirements.

• Act as a trusted data advisor, guiding stakeholders on innovative uses reporting solutions.

4. Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure strict adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policies.

• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and advanced analytics solutions.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies, introducing innovations that improve efficiency and insight delivery.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 7-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer working with the Microsoft stack (e.g., Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, ETL, Databricks, MS Fabric)

• Coding expertise in SQL, Spark SQL, familiarity with Python

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
