Senior Data & Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights:

• Analyze large datasets to identify issues, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to interpret product data and user behavior.
• Build predictive models and dashboards to visualize key KPIs and drive product decisions.
• Present data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Product Understanding:

• Develop end-to-end knowledge of the product and infrastructure to contextualize data insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data findings with product goals and improvements.

Automation & DevOps:

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code integration, testing, and deployment.
• Automate end-to-end software delivery processes on

  Linux

  systems.
• Implement system-level automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Shell scripts, Python) for deployment and monitoring.
• Manage and monitor UAT and Production deployments.

Reporting & Visualization:

• Create and maintain business reports using

  BIRT

  and other visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Grafana, etc.).
• Develop custom reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

GIS & Governance:

• Work with GIS systems, geospatial data layers, and mapping tools used in smart city or infrastructure projects.
• Ensure governance best practices for data access, storage, accuracy, and version control across mapping/zoning-related data.
  

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in

  Data Science

  ,

  DevOps

  , or a similar hybrid role.
• Proficiency in

  Python

  ,

  SQL

  , and data visualization libraries (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn, pandas).
• Hands-on experience with

  CI/CD tools

  like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
• Strong experience in

  Linux systems administration and automation

  .
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
  
• Solid understanding of BIRT reporting and ability to create advanced reports.
  
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
  
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a bonus.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  
• Leadership qualities to drive projects independently and mentor junior members.
