Senior Counselling Psychologist

Key Responsibilities:

1.Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship challenges.

2.Create, implement, and monitor client-centered treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique goals, needs, and cultural background.

3.Equip clients with practical coping strategies and resources to support their emotional resilience, self- awareness, and overall mental wellness.

4.Stay current with emerging research, trends, and best practices in psychotherapy. Actively engage in ongoing professional development, supervision, and training opportunities.

5.Adhere to organizational policies, legal regulations, and ethical guidelines in all counselling practices. Ensure confidentiality and integrity in every client interaction.

6.Maintain thorough and up-to-date client records, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome evaluations in accordance with privacy and data protection standards.

7.Participate in outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health, trauma, and abuse

prevention. Advocate for inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive mental health care.

Requirements:

1. 5-8 years of post-graduate experience providing direct counselling services, with demonstrated ability to manage diverse client caseloads.
2. Licensed or certified as a Mental Health Counsellor, Counselling Psychologist, or equivalent credential preferred.
3. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-Based Therapies, and Trauma-Informed Care.
4. Experience in at least two types of therapy (individual, family, child, or couple) preferred.
5. Excellent listening, empathy, and rapport-building skills with a client-first approach.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
7. Strong attention to detail, time management, and documentation practices.
8. Commitment to professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality.
9. Willingness to work afternoon or evening shifts based on organizational and client needs.
