Job Description: As an Office Technical Support for the project "The Impact of Positive Aging Intervention on Flourishing of Elderly in India: A Pan-India Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial," funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and administered by academics from the School of Social Sciences at MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in Bangalore, your role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of the intervention program for elderly individuals. Your primary responsibility will be to implement program activities in the field, collect relevant data, engage with program beneficiaries, and ensure strict adherence to program guidelines. You will work under the supervision of the Project Technical Staff, reporting directly to the Senior Investigator. Key Responsibilities: Program Execution: - Implement intervention program activities following the guidelines provided. - Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of services to elderly individuals in the designated area. Data Collection: - Collect and record relevant data on program activities, participant demographics, and feedback. - Submit detailed and accurate field reports to the Senior Investigator in a timely manner. Community Engagement: - Engage with program beneficiaries and community members in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner. - Address any concerns or queries from beneficiaries and report significant issues to the Senior Investigator. Adherence to Guidelines: - Strictly adhere to program guidelines and protocols during the execution of activities. - Seek guidance from the Senior Investigator when faced with ambiguous situations. Feedback and Improvement: - Provide constructive feedback on program activities and suggest improvements for enhanced effectiveness. - Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance program delivery. Reporting: - Submit regular and ad-hoc reports to the Senior Investigator, detailing progress, challenges, and any deviations from the program plan. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Psychology with at least one year of experience. - Desirable: M.Sc in Clinical/Counselling/Positive Psychology. - Language requirement: Kannada and English proficiency. This is a full-time position with an initial contract term of 1 year, subject to renewal based on performance and project requirements. Location Hyderabad Mumbai Bangalore Job Description Provide onsite/in-person mental health counselling for the employees of Intellect's local clients in India Report to the client's office either for morning, evening or overnight shifts (dependent on the the clients request) Shifts may be rotated depending on the provided availability Provider will be notified of the changes at least 30 days in advance Facilitate 1 on 1 sessions on various mental health topics (e.g. resilience, stress management, and available well-being resources) Lead group sessions on coping strategies for managing stress and challenging information Moderate peer support sessions to encourage shared experiences and well-being discussions Develop and deliver group sessions and workshops to promote mental health awareness and resilience Share monthly report on utilisation / participation Collaboratively work with Intellect's internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform Conduct once a month, 1-hour checks ins with the internal Intellect team during regular working hours (10 AM - 6 PM Singapore Time) Interested? The role is requirement based. When we have a session available, we will inform you, and if you have open slots, we will schedule the session with the client accordingly. Prior to joining, a formal contract containing comprehensive details will be sent to you. For every counselling session undertaken for Lyra ICAS, detailed notes for the same need to be shared with us within 4 working days from the session's completion date, as per the points outlined in the case notes format which will be shared with you. These notes are not shared with the clients organization, and they are completely confidential. Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation-10 (CORE-10) assessment is a short 10-item easy-to-use assessment measure for common presentations of psychological distress, designed to be used for screening and throughout treatment to track progress. We are to administer it for every session, a minimum of 7 days apart. The assessment must take place at the end of a session. This is administered for individuals only NOT for couples availing a session. If over the course of the session, your client reveals any information which is indicative of a vulnerable mental state, and/or self-harm ideation, the Clinical Manager needs to be informed immediately. The observations also need to be documented in the case notes. Follow-up sessions (if any) need to be scheduled via ICAS India only, as the client/ employee is utilizing the EAP service of their organization and is entitled to a certain number of free sessions under the service that we need to keep a track of. The client/ employee will not pay the counsellor any fee for EAP sessions. Minimum Qualifications required - Masters in Counselling or Clinical Psychology and Bachelors in Psychology.
