Job Description

As a Senior Construction Cost Manager at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in leading and administering construction cost control systems for data center projects across NTT GDC India. Your responsibilities will include tracking budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure competitive project delivery and establish benchmarks. You will collaborate with various teams to plan and control projects effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and interpret data from large datasets using Excel and other Microsoft products. - Produce executive-level reports to communicate accurate financial positions. - Manage the cost coding system within the construction team and integrate it with financial systems. - Develop key performance indicators to demonstrate project performance and identify potential issues. - Coordinate with suppliers to meet financial reporting requirements and develop internal and external benchmarks. - Proactively manage budgets, forecast potential impacts, and identify project risks and opportunities. - Prepare project cost reports, maintain budgets, and support cash flow forecasting. - Utilize complex spreadsheets for data analysis and decision-making. - Implement disciplined change management processes and conduct cost analysis when variances occur. Qualifications Required: - Clear understanding of the construction life cycle with significant project experience in India. - Proven ability to manage cost control systems on complex projects from pre-design to closeout. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and lead meetings. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field. - 13+ years of experience in construction cost management, including preconstruction planning and cost management strategies. - Experience with Construction Cost Accounting Software.
