Senior Contracts Manager

The Senior Contract Manager plays a critical role in achieving organizational goals by establishing and managing strong relationships with business teams, as well as creating client and vendor contracts. Responsibilities include negotiating, closing, extending, and renewing contracts, and effectively communicating contractual changes to stakeholders. Key functions of the role involve reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards, keeping leadership informed about contract status, coordinating agreement execution, maintaining contract files and databases, and contributing to the development of contract-related policies and procedures. The position also involves identifying opportunities for process improvements and taking proactive steps to enhance efficiency. Minimum qualifications include a Post Secondary Degree or Certificate and at least 5 years of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably within the life science or pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, a proactive work style, the capacity to meet deadlines across multiple projects, and the capability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at various organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and fluency in English are also required.
