Job Description

In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of Deloitte business growth for the specific client.

Key Responsibilities:

Mandatory:-

  • Deploy, configure, and manage

    OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)

    clusters across production and non-production environments.
  • Perform daily OpenShift administration tasks including

    cluster upgrades, node scaling, storage, networking

    , and monitoring activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize

    CI/CD pipelines

    using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Manage

    pods, deployments, services, ingresses

    , and other Kubernetes/OpenShift objects.
  • Work with container technologies like

    Docker

    and troubleshoot issues related to containers and workloads.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployments and enhance automation capabilities.
  • Ensure system high availability, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and optimization.
  • Implement best practices for cluster management, governance, and resource utilization.

Optional:-

  • 3 6 years of hands-on experience in

    OpenShift administration

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    Kubernetes fundamentals

    (pods, deployments, services, config maps, secrets, ingress).
  • Experience in

    CI/CD pipeline creation and support

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Docker

    and container lifecycle management.
  • Good understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience working with Git and DevOps automation workflows.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with GitOps tools (Helm, ArgoCD, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Bengaluru/Mumbai/Hyderabad
  • This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations
