Senior Consultant, Portfolio Valuation

As a Senior Consultant at Kroll Portfolio Valuation practice, you will be responsible for providing support to the global valuation practice. Your role will involve: - Building long-term client relationships through exceptional client service, including understanding client needs, responsiveness, and delivering high-quality service and work product. - Developing technical strength in the valuation of alternative assets, acting as a resource for expertise, and sharing knowledge through training and mentoring. - Managing client engagements from day-to-day interaction to staffing, resource management, work plan, and timely completion. - Being assigned a variety of projects and taking responsibility based on your experience and capabilities. - Project management tasks such as client interviewing, engagement economics, team management, report writing, research, and tracking market and industry information. - Building and reviewing various models like DCF models, comparable company models, stock option models, financial instrument, and loan valuations. - Writing industry reports on emerging sectors and coverage reports on the valuation of global Unicorns. To be successful in this role, you should have the following essential traits: - 3-6 years of relevant valuation-related work experience in financial services. - CA, Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent (e.g., CFA); or MBA from an accredited college/university. - Proven technical skills, analytical and problem-solving skills. - Demonstrated leadership experience in managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and developing relationships. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with senior management and public speaking. - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
