Senior Civil Engineer

You are a skilled Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in hybrid renewable energy projects, particularly solar power plant and wind projects. Your main responsibility will be the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering tasks associated with solar power projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and project specifications. You will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery. Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff will be part of your duties, providing guidance on best practices and technical standards. Regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to provide project updates and address concerns is essential. Conducting quality control reviews of design and construction documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications is crucial. Having knowledge of QA/QC and staying current with industry trends, technologies, and advancements in solar energy and civil engineering practices is expected. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred), along with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5+ years in solar power or renewable energy projects. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials is necessary, along with familiarity with solar energy technologies, including photovoltaic systems and solar thermal systems. Excellent project management skills, including experience with scheduling and resource allocation, are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams are also required. Preferred skills include experience with large-scale solar power projects and grid integration, as well as an understanding of local zoning laws and land use regulations affecting solar installations.
