Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of site management, structural work, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare BOQs, material estimates, and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and report daily site updates to management.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
• Verify quantities and measurements for billing purposes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Manage and allocate manpower, materials, and resources efficiently.
• Inspect and ensure quality control at every stage of construction.
• Review structural drawings and provide technical inputs where necessary.
• Assist in resolving any on-site technical issues.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and design standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software.
• Excellent project planning and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate with multiple teams on-site.
• Sound understanding of cost control, quantity estimation, and site documentation.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information:

• Candidates with experience in infrastructure, industrial, or residential projects will be preferred.
• Should be willing to travel to project sites as required.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
